Frances Elizabeth (Jordan) Taunton

Graveside services for Frances Elizabeth Jordan Taunton, 88, of Butler will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Mt Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.Ms. Taunton passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Medical Center of Peach County.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Richland, GA and recently moved her church letter to Mt Pisgah Baptist Church. She worked at Guined Freezer locker and ran the Butler Public Library for years. She also worked at the Taylor County Family and Children Services.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Taunton, Sr. (Mr. Ed); her parents, Frank Jordan and Jewel Green Jordan Lee; two brothers, Johnny Jordan and Joe Jordan.

Survivors include two sons, Robert E. Taunton Jr. (Lenda) of Butler and James R. (Ricky) Taunton (Anna) of Seattle, Washington; one daughter, Gloria Taunton Phillips of Butler; one brother, Alfred Jordan of Flint, Michigan; six grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
