Funeral services for Billy Kay Cummings, Sr., 79, of Butler, will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of McLeighton Funeral Service, Reynolds. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Macon. Mr. Cummings passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Butler. He proudly served and protected his country by serving in the Coast Guard and the U.S. Navy. He was a truck driver for 55 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Nettie Cummings and a son, Billy Kay Cummings, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Cummings of Butler; one daughter, Pam Willard (Andy) of Butler; two grandchildren, Emily Cloniger (Shelby) and Sam Willard of Butler.
