Christie Wainwright Obituary
Funeral services for Christie Wainwright, 64, of Butler, will be held 3:00 pm Thursday at Turners Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Butler Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Wainwright passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital. She was retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections after 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Henry and Lita Chapman Ficht, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Wainwright of Butler; two sons, Adam Wainwright of Butler and Drew Wainwright (Jordie) of Butler; two sisters, Beverly George (James) of Thomaston and Robin Dunn of Woodland; three grandchildren, Molly Wainwright, Johnny Wainwright and Rykker Wainwright; two nephews, David and Phillip George; one great-nephew, Hudson George.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
