Peggy Bell

Peggy Dixon Bell died on February 17th 2021 at the “Hospice House” in Savannah, Georgia. She was born February 4th 1934 in Laurens County, Georgia to the late Dewell and Verna Wasden Dixon.

She was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children in 1965, Jack G. Keith; her daughter, Sheila Keith Grinstead; her son, Jack L. Keith; three brothers, Charles Leslie Dixon, Douglas Dixon and Jack Dixon “Little Jack”; one step-son, Buddy Bell.

In 1973, Peggy married Robert L. Bell, Jr., who passed away in 1998.   They were long term residents of Reynolds, Georgia and members of Reynolds United Methodist Church. 

She is survived by her son, Eric Keith (Debbie); one brother, Jesse Dixon; three step-sons, Bobby Bell (Frances), Billy Bell, and Barry Bell (Kimmie Anne).  Peggy dearly loved and enjoyed her many grandchildren, great-grandchilden and great-great grandchildren as well as her many nieces and nephews.

There will be a private graveside service on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Hillcrest Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Woodson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Reynolds United Methodist Church.
