Wayne Cox

A graveside memorial service for Wayne Cox, 58, of Ideal will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 10:30 am at Ideal Cemetery.  Wayne passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at his residence.  He was a member of Shema Baptist Church in Ellaville. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Cox and Laverne Shepard Cox.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Cox of Ideal; one son, Wayne Cox, Jr. (Leah) of Ideal; two daughters, Heather Kirksey (Duran) of Buena Vista and Holly Hale (Alvin) of Rupert; one brother, Thomas Cox (Rosa) of Ellington, FL; one sister, Rita Terry (Bob) of Thomaston; ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
