William F. “Frank” Oliver, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 14, 2020. He passed way from complications related to lung cancer at the age of 78. Frank was born on May 16, 1942 in Butler, GA to the late William F. Oliver, Sr. and Eva Myrtle Bartlett Oliver. He was the brother of Mrs. Annie Julia “Judy” Oliver Harris and Mrs. Mary Oliver Camp. A graduate of Butler High School, Frank’s diverse career included employment as an insurance agent, restauranteur, and fundraiser. Frank most recently resided in Macon, GA and was a longstanding member of Gods Church of Worship and Praise. His interests included fishing, hunting, reading, politics, and conversing with family and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his daughter Amy Oliver, parents, sister Annie Julia Harris, and brother-in-law Randall Harris, Sr. Survivors include son, William Oliver; daughter, Anne Oliver; step-children, Randy (Julie) Minnick, Tom Oliver, Mike (Donna) Oliver, Tim (Sherry) Oliver, Sally (Michael) McClellan; multiple grandchildren; sister Mary (Danny) Camp; a large extended family; and numerous friends. A memorial graveside service will be held at Mount Nebo Primitive Baptist Church located in Charing, GA on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 1:00pm.
